Days 1-2: Arrive in Melbourne
Arrive in Melbourne and gather tonight for cocktails and a welcome dinner. The next day, tour Melbourne’s landmarks and the Royal Botanic Gardens. Board the converted 1927 Colonial Tramcar Restaurant. As it journeys through the scenic streets of Melbourne, enjoy fine cuisine and the best of Australian wines.

Day 3: The Outback / Mystical Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Fly to fabled Uluru for a night in the heart of the Outback. Later, embark on a sunset walking tour with your guide, stopping at a tranquil place to fully experience the monolith’s sheer size.

Day 4: The Outback / Aboriginal Legends
Rise early to visit Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park as the sun’s morning glow brings the desert to life. Your guide shares the significance of this sacred ceremonial site and explains the evolutionary and geologic forces that have shaped the region. Learn how the traditional owners of the land survived in the arid Outback. Later, fly to Cairns.

Day 5: Great Barrier Reef / The Spectacular Sea
Today, board a catamaran to the outer Great Barrier Reef for a relaxing afternoon and a seafood buffet lunch. Swim or snorkel above the reef’s vibrant corals.

Day 6: Daintree Rainforest / Tribal Paths
Head toward Daintree Rainforest. Joined by a local guide, follow paths trod for centuries by the Kuku Yalanji people. Enjoy lunch deep in the rainforest before spending time in the picturesque, seaside town of Port Douglas.

Days 7-9: Sydney / The True Blue City
Fly to Sydney. The next day, take a guided tour of the iconic Sydney Opera House. The following day, board a cruiser on Sydney Harbour, taking in the Harbour Bridge and Luna Park.

Days 10-12: Queenstown, New Zealand
Fly to Queenstown, New Zealand. The next day, travel past Lake Te Anau into the spectacular Fiordland National Park with its forests, waterfalls and snow-covered peaks. Enjoy a luncheon cruise of iconic, stunning Milford Sound. On the third day, visit Gibbston Valley Winery, renowned for its Pinot Noir, and enjoy wine tasting in the wine cave. Stop at the bungy bridge and explore historic Arrowtown. Finish the day with a gondola ride up to Bob’s Peak for gorgeous views over Lake Wakatipu.

Day 13: Rotorua / The Cultural Heartland
Fly to Rotorua, stopping to visit Rainbow Springs. Later, visit the little village of Ohinemutu, where a local Maori guide leads you on a private tour. This evening, visit a local family and join them for a home-cooked dinner — and an opportunity to learn what it’s like to be a “Kiwi.”

Day 14: Hobbiton & Auckland / Journey to Middle Earth
Journey to Matamata and enjoy lunch at a local dairy farm. Later, experience the real Middle Earth, touring the Hobbiton movie set created for The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, before continuing to Auckland.

Day 15: Auckland / America’s Cup Experience
Visit the Auckland Museum for a private guided tour. Later, join the crew of an America’s Cup yacht for an unforgettable adventure and the chance to take the helm. Enjoy a farewell dinner of regional cuisine.
