Signature Itinerary

Day 1:
Today you will be collected from the airport to your hotel and you will be given pre-departure meeting at your Hotel Hennesis BB

Day 2: NAIROBI Nakuru
Wake up for a pre-breakfast game drive before leaving the lodge after breakfast and travelling to Lake Nakuru . This lake and park is famous for it’s flamingos but there are other types of birds also leaving there. Lunch en-route. Dinner and overnight at

Day 3:Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara
You will wake up for morning breakfast, and thereafter drive via Narok town to Maasai Mara National reserve, the land of the Maasai tribe. The proud young Maasai warrior-nomads with their plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears, challenge your curiosity. The 700-square-mile Game Reserve is the Africa of your dreams, complete with wild animals grazing amid the superb rolling landscape of gentle hills and acacia woodlands. Check in to your camp. 12.30pm lunch in the campsite. There will be time to settle in before your first game drive. 4.00pm Afternoon game drive in the reserve. Day 4:Masai Mara National Reserve
Today there will be a possibility to take an optional hot air balloon ride (costs excluded). “Take to the skies for the ultimate Masai Mara wildlife adventure, soaring in a hot air balloon over herds of game to the inner reaches of the Mara. You’ll ascend in the early morning, when winds are calmest. Watch as the professional crew fills the balloon with hot air. Slowly the big, colorful bag begins to bulge and take shape. After your incredible flight, it’s time to come back down to earth for breakfast. You might wonder what all the ordinary people are doing on this perfect African morning! Before leaving, the pilot will present you with your balloon flight certificate, and then you’ll enjoy a game drive en route back to the camp. No flight of the imagination can match this airborne experience!
If you don’t opt for the balloon ride, you will enjoy a full day uninterrupted game drive.

Day 5: Masai Mara-Lake Naivasha
Today after your breakfast you will be free to get out of the park and the gate and be game driven on your way out to the Great Rift Valley. You will arrive at Lake Naivasha in the afternoon and you will have an optional boat ride to see the Hippos.

Day 6: Green Crater Lake Walk
Breakfast will be at 7.00 am and you will be picked up by a driver from ‘Kenya Walking Survivor Safaris’ at 8.00am. The road to the Green Crater Lake takes you out of Naivasha and along a rough and bumpy road down the edge of lake Naivasha , passing by huge Greenhouses where roses and other flowers are grown for the export market. You will arrive at the Green Crater Lake at 9.30am approx and you will begin your morning game walk. The green crater lake was formed by volcanic activity. The group will walk in a reserve where its possible to get up close to Giraffe and many varieties of antelope.it’s a great opportunity for photos.The guides will answer questions about the animals, birdlife etc and point out the rocks formed due to the volcanic activity.
At 12.00pm you will leave for lunch at ‘canary camp’ about 20 mininutes back down the road toward Naivashatown.This lunch will be supplied by KWSS and will be prepared by their cook. carnary camp is a lovely camp on the shore of Lake Naivasha and has a large resident bird population inc Ibis, superb starlig. Lovebirds, fisheagle and Hoopoe and is a great opportunity to see the Black and White colobusmonkey.After lunch you will have some free time. You could sit back at the campsite bar and enjoy a cold drink and a game of pool or participate in some optional activities like cycling around the village or hire a small power boat for a trip out on to the lake. An option worth considering for inclusion in the Itinerary.
Elsamere, the home of the late Joy and George Adamson is just a few klms away. Joy is famous for her book ‘Born Free’ and was an artist of some note. For an entry fee of Ksh 1000 per pax (approx USD$10) they get to visit the small museum, watch a documentary video of their life and then sit in the lovely gardens beside the lake and enjoy an afternoon tea of beautiful cakes, scones and slices and tea and coffee. Elsamere opens at 3.30pm and I recommend INCLUDING this option. It will take about 2 hours. Overnight at the

Day 7 :LakeNaivasha-Arusha-Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast you will be transfer to the boarder of Tanzania and Kenya at Namanga boarder, After the immigration clearance, you will be transferred to lake Manyara for its famous Tree climbing lions, You will arrive in for early game drive at 12pm you will set your early lunch then by 1500hrs you will leave for afternoon game drive.

Day 8 : Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we will be transferring to the famous Serengeti National Park. This park is to Tanzania, what the Masai Mara Game Reserve is to Kenya. Covering 14,763 sq km, the Serengeti NP is dominated by vast, open plains with an abundance of wildlife. A picnic lunch will be provided en route, and the afternoon will be spent viewing game and absorbing the breathtaking scenery of the almost treeless plains of the Serengeti. After an early breakfast we will proceed on an early morning game drive, returning for a hearty lunch. After a brief rest, there will be an afternoon game drive to further explore this world-famous park. Dinner and overnight at Ikoma Tented Camp.

Day 9: Serengeti-Ngorongoro Crater
We will transfer to the Ngorongoro crater, via Olduvai Gorge. Ngorongoro is an impressive 20 km wide volcanic crater with 600 m walls. The views from the crater rim are breathtaking, and there is an ever-present abundance of wildlife, due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. Olduvai Gorge is famed for the discovery of 3.5 million year-old fossil fragments of an early human civilization. We will enjoy lunch overlooking the crater, and the afternoon will be spent at leisure. We will embark on a half-day crater tour, overnight at Haven Nature Tented Camp.

Day 10: Ngorongoro– Arusha-Nairobi
